After a significant respite from verification in 2024-2025, we can expect a higher verification burden in 2025-2026. In this webinar, we will review the FAFSA data elements that must be reviewed when a student is selected for V1 verification, and the documentation we must collect to conduct the review. We’ll also review the 2023 tax forms and locate all the FAFSA tax data, and how we can identify which “applicable schedules” are needed if we receive a 1040, but do not receive Schedule 1 or Form 8863.
